Mission Statement

The purpose of the Marietta Restoration Associates, Inc. is to promote, encourage and conduct the restoration, development and preservation of the historical, cultural, and aesthetic aspects of the borough of Marietta, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and of the vicinity thereof, and to do all things necessary, proper and incidental to the accomplishment of such purpose.

Description

Marietta Restoration Associates (MRA) is a non-profit 501(c) organization that maintains three historic buildings throughout the Marietta Pa. community. The Old Town Hall, Union Meeting House and Bank buildings serve as the center for historic and cultural activities in Marietta during the year. Current projects include the restoration of the Musselman-Vesta Furnace office building, built in 1868 and the Historic Marietta Theatre, one of the oldest in the United States. When you volunteer to assist Marietta Restoration Associates you support the ongoing perservation of historic Marietta Pennsylvania.
