Mission Statement

The Nathaniel Anthony Ayers Foundation supports arts programs at mental health or arts organizations that support the mentally ill. We place special emphasis on the programs that support the artistically gifted.

Description

The Nathaniel Anthony Ayers Foundation will work to raise public awareness through lectureships, art exhibits, recitals and concerts. In addition, we will provide a forum for people to tell their stories about how mental illnes has impacted their lives.

We are also developing an 'Artist in Residence' program that will match accomplished artists and mental health patients in mentorship programs.
