Mission Statement

PALS creates inclusive camp experiences for people with and without Down syndrome. Our volunteer-led programs change attitudes, transform lives, and inspire a world of belonging.

Description

PALS would not be possible without its dedicated volunteer counselors. Comprising more than 80% of the volunteer community, our counselors train for and attend a full week of camp, sharing living accommodations with a peer with Down syndrome, and building friendships with their roommate, teammates, and the camp community at large. We welcome individuals of all backgrounds to apply who represent our core PALS values: Welcoming, passionate, supportive, genuine, and fun.
We are especially looking for male volunteer applicants!
