Description

A Day Away ADHC, and affiliate of Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier, provides daytime care for adults 18 years and older who require continuous supervision, and whose caregivers may need to work, care for another family member, or just rest. Our participants may be those affected by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, Parkinson's disease, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Developmental Disabilities, Stroke, and other debilitating medical conditions. Our program is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team including a Registered Nurse, Medical Social Worker, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Registered Dietician, Activity Leader, Program Aides.
