Mission Statement

The Healing Center targets underserved working poor who have limited access to medical care and live and work in the community. The mission of Immanuel Presbyterian Church is to be a growing, learining multi cultural spiritural community. We welcome all people into an experience of mystery and healing, serving the varied needs of the people of Los Angeles.

Description

Founded in 1888, and located in the heart of downtown Los angeles, Immanuel Presbyterian Church has a longstanding tradition of extending holistic care to the wider community.

In Keeping with our holistic vision, Immanuel's current community outreach and programming priorities include the provision of emergency food and clothing through our Food Pantry in partnership with HopeNet, health consulations and referrals through an on site health office which we staff in partnership with queens care heath and faith partnership, El Camino counseling center which provides individual and family Spanish language counseling services, in partnership with Miracle Mile, multiple level yoga and tai chi classes offered in partnership with Hope Street Family Center. All of the above services are provid free in both English and Spanish.
