J-Works is committed to introducing positive environments to youth who would otherwise have no access to such opportunities, help youth develop and understand the value of: hard work, discipline and integrity, career development, build dreams and develop skills so youth do not become a product of their environment.

Description

The Youth Career Development Program is a yearlong program for youth ages of 13-17. We meet at least once a week for a minimum of 4 hours. We teach the youth the following skills:

*Moral and Ethical decision making

*Responsibility, integrity and honesty

*Conflict resolution

*Discuss current events

*Resume building and interviewing skills

*FTE (Field Training Experiences) for Career Development
