It is the mission of Wabash Center to optimize the quality of life for people with disabilities or special needs. The purpose of TAGS and MAGS is to recruit and train volunteers to serve as volunteer court-appointed guardians. All volunteers are supported by a professional staff member who is certified by National Guardianship Association. Our mission is to safeguard the rights of incapacitated adults in our communities, and to provide guardianship services to those who have no one. They have no family, or family isn't available. Our goal is to provide guardianship and other services that are administered in the least restrictive manner and with the utmost respect for the value of all individuals. Our volunteer guardians are trained to consult with his/her protected person about major decisions whenever possible.
Wabash Center is a non-profit organization assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or special needs to reach their fullest potential.
