Description

Evergreen Park World Cultures Community School became a Specialty School in 2012 and serves approximately 500 students in grades PreK-5. As part of the Anoka Hennepin School District, the district core elementary curriculum is taught. In addition to the core curriculum, EPWCCS's Specialty School focus includes the integration of Community, Culture, Arts and Experiences. This provides students opportunities for community connections and partnerships, hands-on learning experiences, and multiple exposures to culture and the arts through artist-in-residency visits, classroom connections, and field trips. EPWCCS is fortunate to have many community partnerships that help provide rich learning opportunities for students.
