Description

Founded in 1982 by Liberian-Ameriican missionaries J. Railey Gompah and Esther G. Gompah (both U.S. citizens indigenous to Liberia) to serve Church and Community primarily in the United States and Liberia (West Africa), BASILEIA MISSIONS INC is a New York State not-for-profit (501-C-3), tax-exempt, charitable, educational, relief, development and human service corporation of the evangelical Christian tradition.

The Mission --- which is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, wiith regional offices in New York, Pennsylvania and Liberia --- derives its name from the Greek word "Basileia" meaning "GOD IS SUPREME." BASILEIA MISSIONS and its leadership have been recognized by a stellar array of distinguished leaders, including a United States Vice President; a ranking U.S. Senator; and a New York State Governor, among others.

The Founders have been honored for "Distinguished Services to Africa and Humanity."
