Offering an alternative to abortion, giving both mother and baby hope for the future.
Description
Lifeline Family Center opened its doors to its first resident on February 15, 1996. The center is a privately funded 501(c)3 and is dedicated to providing hope for young women in unplanned pregnancies by offering them a two year residential program in a safe and secure Christian home. The program includes a comprehensive educational program including pre-natal and parenting classes; G.E.D. tutoring; career evaluation, vocational training, and spiritual guidance to assist them in becoming God-dependent, financially self-supporting, and contributing members of society. We are licensed through the Florida Association of Christian Child Caring Agencies (FACCCA).
Our Community Outreach Ministry has several satellite locations that provide free testing and crisis pregnancy counseling, offering positive alternatives to abortion, evaluation for LFC's residential program or referrals to appropriate service providers/programs based on their need.
Other services we provide include Abstinence Education and POst Abortion Counseling and Education (PACE) for healing through Christ's love and forgiveness.
Volunteers are required to attend a 2-part orientation/training and must provide a written Christian testimony.
