Mission Statement

Hands On The World Global believes in sustainable communities and we strive to work in developing countries to educate and provide the basic infrastructure for food and water security. We build leadership along with each project using "water" as our bridge to hand out knowledge and information. Giving the gift of water allows us to build trust with the entire community. We then train teachers and leaders to pass on important information that can save lives. We use schools and clinic as our learning bases and they become the heart of each village and community.

Description

Our Organization is working in an areas of the world where school villages do not have running water.

We have a goal to put a model Green Community Hub in each district and form clusters of school and community leaders that can form teams so that large grant writing can take place to support this group as a team.

We hope that we can then spread this model to different countries within Africa that are calling upon us.

We also create small food gardens with each project and install sinks for handwashing.

Each project has stages of development. Each project sets up it's own small task force.

We go back and forth from the USA to Haiti, South Africa , Ghana and Kenya. Each community has leaders chosen that live on or near the property in order to Sustain the work.
