Mission Statement

The Role of the United Way of Bartholomew County is to encourage and lead the people of our community to share resources and meet human needs and create lasting community change. This will be accomplished by:

raising funds and recruiting volunteers

distributing resources to organizations

leading the community in identifying and adrressing underlying issues.

Description

The United Way of Bartholomew County is a not for profit organization that leads the Bartholomew County (indiana) community in addressing the community's most urgent and critical human service needs. The organization raises funds for 20 local not for profit organizations that address 4 focus areas of need:

Developing children and youth

Strenthening Families

Emergency Needs

Services for Seniors and persons with disabilities
