Mission Statement

The mission of the Academy Art Museum is to provide the knowledge, practice, and appreciation of the arts and to enhance cultural life on the Eastern Shore by making available to everyone the Museum’s expanding collection, exhibitions, and broad spectrum of arts programs.

Description

The Academy Art Musuem is an art museum dedicated to providing residents of the Eastern Shore of Maryland access to fine art, as well as well as art education and apprecitaion. The Museum has a growing collection, and prides itself on presenting exhibitions of both world renown and local artists. The Academy Art Museum offeres classes and programing for all ages on site. In addition to many onsite offerings, the Museum also runs trips to other Museums and cultural institutions.
