Mission Statement

The purpose of the City of Clute Parks and Recreation Department is to provide quality facilities and recreational opportunities to the citizens of Clute and to promote tourism through special events.

Description

The Clute Parks and Recreation Department hosts many different events throughout the year. We host youth, adult, senior and Special Olympic softball tournaments. We assist in city wide cleanup events throughout the year. The Department hosts Special Events during the year, these include; The Great Texas Mosquito Festival (July), Harvest Fun Fest (October) and Christmas in the Park (December). In the spring (May 09) we will be hosting the first annual Clute Car Show to be held at Clute Municipal Park.
