There are ways for you to provide compassion and support to hospice patients and their families either directly by sitting and reading to them, provide a bit a respit for the care giver (volunteers are not allowed to provide hands on care) or just sitting quietly holding their hand. OR Indirectly you can help by cooking a meal, making a lap blanket or any other crafts you might have that a patient might enjoy!
