Mission Statement

Gulf Coast Wildlife Rescue (GCWR) is an organization of state and federally permitted wildlife rehabilitators and volunteers dedicated to caring for injured and orphaned native wildlife (birds, mammals, and reptiles) for the purpose of release back into the wild.

Description

GCWR provides food, shelter, medical treatment, medicine, and rehabilitation to over 2000 animals annually. GCWR operates a 24-hour Wildlife Hotline (979-849-0184) that members of the community can call when they find injured or orphaned wildlife or need advice concerning wildlife. Also, GCWR provides educational programs to school children, civic organizations, scouts, and churches free of charge.
