The mission of Neighborhood House is to alleviate poverty at its root, through an array of programs that provide critical short-term relief to diverse communities, while facilitating long term recovery.

Description

Neighborhood House is located in the 61605 zip code area, one of the most improverished areas in the state of Illinois. We provide a safe haven with comprehensive srvices that meet the social, emotional and material needs of individuals and families from infancy to the elderly. We provide over 1000 meals daily to seniors and children along with over 30 programs to enhance the quality of life and foster independence of those served.
