Mission Statement

The mission of the CASA Program of Union County is to help the Court provide safe, permanent, and healthful homes for the children who are in our Court system due to abuse and neglect.

Description

The volunteers that are involved with our program are trained by our staff to advocate for children who have been adjudicated a Child in Need of Services. The volunteer investigates the case by interviewing all of the parties involved (including the child), creating a report to the court based on the investigation, and attending court to speak on behalf of the child. All this in the best interest of the child.
