To foster environmental awareness and a conservation ethic in citizens of all ages. It functions as a "living laboratory" and an educationnal and public information center to promote the care of the earth.

Description

The Nature Center is a Milwauakee County Parks facility located in Whitnall Park. The 200 acres contain four distinct communities with a 60 acre man-made lake in the wetland. It contains about 6-7 miles of trails. Most of the trails are woodchipped.
