Mission Statement
The CTTF Auxiliary is a specialized auxiliary unit of the NYPD Auxiliary Police supporting the Traffic Operation Division of the New York City Police department. Our primary activities include traffic control during special events, safety education, and vehicle and bicycle patrols throughout the 5 boroughs of New York City.
Description
The Citywide Traffic Task Force (CTTF) Auxiliary is a volunteer unit part of the NYPD Auxiliary Police, the volunteer organization of the New York City Police Department. Auxiliary Police Officers are civic-minded men and women who volunteer to assist their community, by performing uniformed patrol duties. They are trained and equipped by the Police Department and come from many diverse backgrounds throughout the City.
As a member of the CTTF Auxiliary you will be part of a specialized auxiliary unit supporting the traffic operations division of the New York City Police department. Our primary activities include traffic control during special events, safety education, and vehicle and bicycle patrols throughout the 5 boroughs of New York City.
