Mission Statement

To rescue, rehabilitate and shelter homeless, endangered and abused cats and kittens. To find them loving and caring forever homes. To promote the adoption of special needs cats and kittens by educating the public regarding their care and long-term needs. To promote the importance and benefits of spaying and neutering cats and kittens. To help adopters provide for their cats in these tough economic times.

Description

West Side Cats (Cat Ladies Society) was started by a group of people who want to fulfill the West Side Cats mission. We are a non-profit charity run exclusively by volunteers. While we rescue and adopt out many normal, healthy cats and kittens, we like to specialize in those with special needs. We exist to give cats with injuries, illnesses and disabilities a second chance at a good life. We are the last safe haven in our area for cats and kittens that would otherwise be euthanized. All animals leave the shelter spayed and neutered. Our donors and volunteers come from the community we serve.

If you want to see what neglect does to a group of stray and abandoned cats, then it is here you need to go. You can watch the disgusting leader, Kim, sit and tell you how much she knows, how little veterinarians know, how little other rescues know. The animals are not cared for properly. The sick cats are mixed with well cats. Runny noses and eyes, diareeha, wounds opened - this is what you will see. You can try and donate money to help these animals, but the money goes right into Kim's pockets. Cannot believe no one has shut this place down. The cats are better off left on the streets than in the hands of this incompetent creature. Kim needs to be put out of business and put in jail for severe neglect of these animals. Do not volunteer here unless you want your heart broken at the awful condition of the cats there.
