Mission Statement

Concerned Citizens for Animal Welfare's purpose is to bring together people to work cooperatively creating a compassionate community where there are no more stray, abandoned, neglected or abused animals and where no adoptable animals are euthanized. We act as a catalyst in the community, bringing together the right group of people to come up with solutions to identified animal welfare issues.

Description

Concerned Citizens for Animal Welfare is a 501-C-3, all volunteer organization whose main goal is to reduce the overwhelming pet overpopulation in Volusia County by providing funding to pet owners who cannot afford to have their pets spayed or neutered. By reducing the number of animals born we hope to reduce the pet overpopulation and in turn reduce the numbers that must be euthanized each year in our shelters. We are dedicated to helping Volusia County to become a "No Kill Community".
