Mission Statement

Our Mission ... is to provide experiential opportunities in an outdoor environment for children, youth, families, and their advocates to know and share Jesus Christ with ALL people. LVR welcomes churched and unchurched, Lutherans and non-Lutherans. Our goal is for all who come here to begin and continue a relationship with Jesus Christ, and to strengthen them so that they share Jesus with all people. We also encourage respect of God's creation, others, and self. LVR is for everyone, without regard to race, religion, or handicap.

Description

LVR ... is a summer youth camp and year-around retreat center (est. 1959) located on 240 acres at an elevation of 8400' in the middle of Pike National Forest. LVR offers opportunities for children, youth, and families to experience Jesus Christ. LVR is about a 1 1/2 hour drive from Colorado Springs, and a 2 1/2 hour drive from Denver.
