Volunteering for TexasCares is one of the most fulfilling things I get to do. I'm always telling my friends and family to come volunteer here. It's not only the cats that make this wonderful, but also those who dedicate their time to coordinating everything as well. By far my favorite place and way to help my community!

The volunteer manager is very courteous and prompt at responding to emails. The activity is straight forward and rewarding.

If you love helping animals in need especially cats, this is a great organization to get involved with. It doesn't take too much of your time just 5 hours once a month and you can make a big difference for one of our kitties.

I have volunteered with TexasCARES for almost 2 years. It is a wonderful way to help kittens and cats in need of finding a loving home. Volunteering with an organization who devotes their time and resources to creatures who can't help themselves is very rewarding.

I've been volunteering with Texas CARES for almost 5 years and really enjoy it. Taking care of kitties and working to find homes for them is a great way to be part of the community. This small group is all volunteer and helps a lot of animals. The people are great to work with and it's a great chance for families to volunteer together. You can volunteer as little as once a month or every week or just for a specific event like taking santa photos at petsmart. Fostering kitties is great fun also.
I've made some great friends through this opportunity.
