Our mission is to provide high quality dance instructions to our students and help them to develop love for art, friendship and fitness. We will also give every dancer an opportunity to perform and learn Indian values and traditions

Description

Indian Dance School is a charitable organization formed by Gauri Jog under IRS Section 501(3)(c) with EIN 26-3110772 . The school was established promotes physical fitness through dance especially among teens and to learn rich cultural heritage of India. Since 1999 the school has provided basic dance training to more than one thousand students. For needy students the school offers free dance education. Gauri Jog also imparts Kathak training online and currently has students from 12 countries. The school emphasises adherence to the classicism of Kathak dance and Hindustani music, ensuring structured training with a strong foundation firmly rooted in tradition.
