Friends of Reston Community Center

Description

The Friends were organized in 1978 as a recognized non-profit corporation to support the Reston Community Center (RCC), a community owned building maintained by Fairfax County and self-supported through a tax surcharge on residents of Small Tax District #5. The Friends are a self-governing membership group that supplies volunteer time and tax deductible donations to support the RCC and its outreach programs. We also recive funds and equipment donated for specific programs. We endeavor to recruit and nurture volunteers and donors, to provide seed money for new programs, and to spread enthusiasm for the RCC.
