I enjoy taking care of the PAAW foster cats at the Petco in Troy. Scheduling is very flexible and any help I can give is really appreciated. It seems the local community is quite committed to providing the litter and food the fostered felines need. Although the organization lacks any real central location, the many dedicated volunteers seem to take it upon themselves to make the many pieces of the puzzle / fostering / medical / transporting / adoption events etc...work. I wish the organization had its own cat cafe/storefront/building in which allow more space for and show more of the available cats to the community - that would be helpful. I'm satisfied though, as a volunteer everything I need to assist the cats is always available. ;) I wish some large corporation or philanthropist, or foundation would sponsor and provide more funds for this good cause. More fundraising perhaps in the future might help. The organization holds together thanks to it's volunteers

I work as an Admin and Finance officer in my current role, so it will help me and my colleagues to gain HR experiences.

They save the cats and dogs from Hazel Park animal shelter and other places. The animals are well cared for and are given their shots, neutered/sprayed, and microchipped. You can opt to foster to adopt, which makes sure you are compatible with your new pet. I love working here and loving all the cats.

I offered to volunteer with this organization over a month ago and have not heard from them. I have made every reasonable attempt to contact them (email, voice mail) and still have not received a response.

I volunteer for P.A.A.W. from time to time with special events and I could not be more proud of what they do. They work very hard to help homeless animals find forever homes. They try to give each and every animal the best chance at a life outside the shelter by having them neutered/spayed, up-to-date on shots, providing training and thoroughly reviewing their potential adopters situation before they release them. I will continue to volunteer for them as often as I can.

This organization has very nice people working for them. It was easy for me to help them out because it was not difficult to learn where everything is and what to do. I enjoyed the experience and have volunteered there twice. Both times it was for school, but P.A.A.W. was very helpful and they were kind. Besides it is fun watching cats play around and petting them.
