The LAD mission is to provide positive development opportunities for youth and families through programs that promote education, strengthen life skills, foster economic empowerment, address needed health and human services and teach character through responsible behavior. LAD offers educational opportunities that transform individuals by providing the tools that allow them to function effectively as self-directed individuals responsible to themselves and to others.

Description

Launching A Dream offers comprehensive social and educational services for youth and families in underserved areas. Programs consist of resident services at identified apartment communities including activities that promote health, neighborhood cohesion and social awareness. Additionally, Launching A Dream provides afterschool programs to hundreds of area youth and educational programs for adults throughout Dallas County.
