Mission Statement

"The mission of Vet2Vet Housing is to provide housing for veterans who are experiencing financial hardships and to rehabilitate them back into the civilian workforce."

Description

A nonprofit formed with the goal of housing homeless veterans. The mission is not just giving them shelter, but also providing a program to slowly integrate them back into society. Being a veteran myself, serving eight honorable years, and experiencing three major campaigns overseas protecting our freedom. I personally, understand the struggles we face as veterans returning into society with the scars of war. My nonprofit will also provide rehabilitative services in the fields of job training and interviewing to assist in thier becoming working citizens again while improving the community. Our nonprofit was founded in an old church I inherited from my grandmother, which we planned on converting to our first center, but upon inspections from various contractors we were advised to tear the church down due to black mold in the roofing. Vet2Vet's new plan is to move our organization to Atlanta, Georgia. We have a location and business plan to build a center for obtaining our goals. Currently we are researching and applying for grants to cover the administrative fees for our 501c3 application and registration in Georgia?
