Description

Essex County Park System is the country's first Park System. The Parks Department works to maintain the parks throughout the county, keeping the spaces safe, beautiful and functional for the residents. Park facilities include 15 acre Turtle Back Zoo, over 6,000 acres of open space in parks in all of the 22 municipalities.
