Mission Statement

The Shoreline Community College ESL/ABE/GED Programs are dedicated to improving the English language and basic skills of the residents of the city of Shoreline, including north Seattle and south Snohomish County so that they can improve the lives of their families, become self-sufficient, and pursue further education.

Description

Shoreline Community College's ESL/ABE/GED Programs offer English language classes to immigrants and refugees and basic education classes to residents pursuing the General Education Development (GED) certificate. Classes are offered on campus in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Many classes help prepare adults for entry into short-term job training programs offered by the college.
