Mission Statement

Action Ministries' mission is to provide Help and Hope for the Hurting. This statement is the essence of our existence. As a faith-based nonprofit organization, we believe in the wholeness of the individual. this wholeness is met by addressing an individual's physical, spiritual and emotional self. It is our purpose to offer those hurting persons in the North Georgia area help for their needs of today, and equally important, hope for tomorrow. It is in response to this mission that Action Ministries selects it programs and services.

  • Temporary family and AIDS victims housing
  • Child pre-school and after-school development
  • Addiction recovery for women

  • Empowerment services (transportation, employment skills, etc.)

Action Ministries is a great organization to find a volunteer opportunity you are most passionate about. I volunteer for their after school program at a homeless women and children's shelter every Thursday. I also volunteer at Breakthru House, a recovery program for women recovering from substance abuse, every Friday. It's also nice they are a Georgia nonprofit serving our local community.
