Mission Statement

The mission of the Skylands Association is to stimulate a greater appreciation of the relationship between gardens and people, through education, research, and the conservation of natural and architectural heritage.

Description

The Skylands Association was founded in 1976 to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the New Jersey Botanical Gardens which are located in Ringwood State Park. In addition to working in the gardens, the Association maintains a full schedule of tours, walks, workshops, lectures and special events throughout the year, all managed by volunteers.
