The Barcid Foundation was formed to serve the needs of Native American communities throughout North America and Indigenous communities throughout the world through multimedia nonprofit activities. Some of our initiatives include a scholarship fund, multimedia grant, and pow wow. We offer several film programs, professional support and significant opportunities to Indigenous multimedia artists throughout the United States and have youth outreach in Arizona, Oklahoma and Canada. Our goals are to encourage visual arts in Indigenous communities and provide career and educational opportunities in the field of multimedia.

We are based in Los Angeles but have outreach in American Indian communities throughout Southern California. We work with Native American students located on reservations and urban centers including California, Oklahoma and Arizona. Every year, we expand our outreach to more tribes and are able to train more youth in multimedia and encourage higher education.
Our programs are designed to bring long-term educational and vocational skills to Native American and Indigenous communities throughout the world. We have created a strong foundation for Native American professionals to better their employment opportunities and have created a conduit for Native American students to find higher education. We seek to do more every year and plan to build for an even stronger future.
