Mission Statement

Our foundation serves to raise awareness and funding for EARTH University in Guacimo, Limon, Costa Rica. EARTH's mission is to prepare leaders with ethical values to contribute to the sustainable development of the humid tropics and to construct a prosperous and just society.

Description

EARTH University is an international, private, non-profit university. It offers an education in the agricultural sciences and natural resource management. The University aims to contribute to sustainable devleopment in the humid tropics, a region known for its biological and cultural diversity and also for being threatened by social disparities and inappropriate natural resource management. Our University has students from over 24 countries, 50% of whom receive a full scholarship and 30% of whom receive a partial scholarship.
