Focus On Renewal

Description

Focus On Renewal is a 40 year old multi social service agency serving the people of McKees Rocks and Stowe Township. FOR had it's beginnings during the war on poverty days of the late 1960's. Founded by the local Catholic pastor, Focus ON Renewal is still guided by a Catholic priest, Fr. Regis J. Ryan. While not overtly faith based Focus ON Renewal is a place of welcom and respect for all who enter it's doors.

Currently FOR is an amalgm of 4 corporations: the Neighborhood Corporation, Federal Credit Union, Federally funded health center and Sto-Rox High Rise. There are several different programs within the Neighborhood Corporation including the town library, a community center, food bank, Early Head Start, Butterfly Garden Early Learning Center, Positive Parenting Family Support Center, System of Care Initiative, transportation, the Learning Center, and the newly opened Father Ryan Arts Center.

We have about 150 employees in all four corporations and a budget in the Neighborhood Corporation of about $4.1 million dollars.
