Mission Statement

"Improving lives by releasing individuals and families from the health and safety risks of hoarding" Lightening the Load's mission is offering help, hope, and healing through education, coaching, and support to aid those affected by hoarding based upon the principles of Romans 12:2.

Description

Founded in 2012 by Ceci Garrett in response to a growing need in the Spokane, WA area for accessible resources for those battling hoarding--both those who have a personal struggle, and those in the greater community frustrated by another's hoarding behaviors. LTL became a 501C3 nonprofit in 2015 and continues to be the primary source of help and hope in the midst of hoarding for the Eastern Washington area.
