Social entrepreneurs are a unique breed of individuals who recognize a critical social problem and use entrepreneurial principles to create breakthrough and sustainable change. They are fearless, ambitious, and tenacious in their dedication to create system wide change. Success is typically measured by the sustainable impact the their idea or platform has on society.
Creating Sustainable Change AFI has found that most social entrepreneurs are devoting their entire life to the cause in which they believe. AFI helps make their innovative solutions sustainable by providing a them with a living stipend, strategic support, and a world-class global network. The AFI living stipend allows our fellows to fully allocate their energy and resources to building, refining and spreading their ideas until they become widely adopted. AFI also provide our fellows with a global network of groups, companies, and organizations for multiple levels of support.
Fostering Global Discussion
AFI believes that creating mass awareness and understanding is critical to the sustainability of social change. Consequently, AFI utilizes many marketing mediums to ensure global citizens are aware and can participate in this social change.
