Mission Statement

Our mission is to build youth through Character education and technology to work, play and grow together. We use education, technology and recreation to inspire and motivate each individual participant to learn and practice the art of mutual respect, tolerance, courtesy and discipline. Through conflict resolution, ethics, self-esteem, cooperation, leadership and teamwork. This all adds up to great character and as you know character counts.

Description

Take One Community Program offers a wide variety of opportunities to elementary, middle, and high school students. Everyday in the United States as many as 15 million children leave school with no place to go. Many of these children become involved with activities that are negative and cause problems for them and their families, drugs, alcohol, gang activity or become sexually active. Some are low achievers academically and don't fit in at their school environment. What options does this leave for our youth? Take One offers many programs such as our after school program where children can engage in enriching activities and establish healthy relationships that increase confidence and encourage success in all areas of their lives, school, home, and community involvement.
