A brief description of the organization, its mission, goals and those it serves

The Quad County Urban League (QCUL) is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1975 to advocate and establish programs for the social and economic growth of disadvantaged persons and people of color. QCUL’s mission is to help secure equal opportunities by ensuring: (1) youth are well educated and equipped for economic self-reliance as they enter adulthood; (2) adults sustain economic self-sufficiency through employment, home ownership, entrepreneurship and wealth accumulation; and (3) all people maintain their civil rights and have equal participation in our nation’s economic and social mainstream.
