To provide young women in Nepal with the skills, support and opportunities to become leaders and change-makers in their schools, communities, nation and world.

Description

Women LEAD is the first and only professional and leadership development organization for young women in Nepal. We started Women LEAD because we believe the lack of female leaders around the world is one of the biggest inequalities of the 21st century.

To address the lack of women leaders, we provide young women early on in their careers with the personal and professional skills to become leaders. Since June 2011, Women LEAD has empowered more than 1,000 youth to become leaders in their schools and communities. Our vision is to empower young women around the world to be leaders, starting in Nepal. Women LEAD has empowered more than 1,000 youth to become leaders in their schools and communities.

Our programs provide young women with intensive year-long leadership training, skills building, mentoring, and a peer-support network.
