Mission Statement

To move children out of foster care and quickly place them into safe, permanent homes where they can thrive.

Description

CASA is a non-profit, child advocacy organization that relies on community volunteers to advocate on behalf of foster children within New York City. CASA's mission has remained constant from the beginning: to help foster care children grow up in safe, permanent and loving homes. Volunteers and professional staff work with social service providers, legal representatives, legislators and judges to move children swiftly out of the foster care system and into families with whom they have the stability and permanence they deserve. CASA serves children ranging in age from birth to 21 years.
