It is our Mission to: • Positively impact communities using a framework for effective change • Gather local and national community builders together for meaningful dialogue • Attract passionate individuals, organizations and communities to create and disseminate ideas and practices for comprehensive community transformation • Assist communities as they build and implement their plans of action • Foster use of continuously improving community building processes which create identifiable, measurable improvement Central to our mission is the core belief that Civility is fundamental to building healthy relationships in every situation: at home, school, work and in all community interactions.

Description

The Civility Center was founded in 2000 with the belief that each of us can help to restore civility to society. Our dedicated board consists of 12 directors from across North America, each of whom is committed to improving our communities.
