Mission Statement

To carry-on educational activities by acquiring, maintaining, restoring, exhibiting, and operating items pertaining to steam railroad transportation, with their particular effect upon the history and development of Siouxland--northwest Iowa, southeast South Dakota, northeast Nebraska, and southwest Minnesota.

Description

The Siouxland Historical Railroad Association is a 15-year old education organization that has served the Siouxland area with programs and services that preserve the region's railroad history. We are renovating the former Chicago Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad Shops and Roundhouse into a railroad museum.
