Mission Statement
As a not-for-profit organization, our mission is to provide our community the best services and resources on living with a life-limiting illness, dying, death, grief and loss. We do this through our Edel Caregiver Institute, our Steward Center for Palliative Care, Hospice Savannah, Inc., and our Full Circle Grief and Loss Center.
Description
We are the original hospice in our community - founded by volunteers in 1979. We now serve Chatham, Bryan, Liberty, Long and Effingham conites. It is our continued honor and privilege to provide inpatient care at our beloved Hospice House; bereavement support to any child, teen or adult at no charge; symptom relief for those with serious illness through palliative care; and education and support to family caregivers - long before they need hospice care. Our goal is to help LONG before hospice care is needed.
