Mission Statement

To aid in the management of the resources of North Point State Park.
To make the public more aware of the activities and educational programs available in the park.
To encourage partnerships between the private and business community with the park to further these goals.

Description

Volunteers are a very important part of the operation of North Point State Park. Duties vary and range from opening the gates on weekends to park maintenance and cleanup. Volunteers also help with the planning and running of events at the park, such as the summer programs, park clean up events, holiday events, and a Youth Fishing Derby. Set your own hours and work as frequently as you wish. Volunteers are asked to attend regular meetings and occasional training.
