Through the powerful healing connection between horses and humans, HBH aims to educate and enrich the lives and spirits of individuals of all abilities. Utilizing an inclusive model, HBH strives to improve and rehabilitate the emotional and physical well-being of both humans and equines in a safe, caring and professional environment.
Our programs help our students build physical strength, improve balance and increase self-esteem in a clean, safe environment. Specially trained horses are able to address the unique needs of every individual. HBH is all-inclusive, and can adjust to a wide range of individuals. We have been able to provide positive experiences for individuals with (but not limited to): ADD/ADHD, Autsm Spectrum, Caner, Cerebral Palsy, Depression/Anxiety, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, Foster children/Adopted children, Multiple Sclerosis, PTSD, Spinal Cord Injuries, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
We are an entirely volunteer based organization and welcome those who want join us to positively affect the lives of others (humans and equines). We ask for a commitment of at least 2 hours per week and are happy to train you. The things we need help with include (but not limited to) basic barn chores, fundraising, special event planning and summer camps.

I have been volunteering with HBH for 4 years now and it is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Horses Bring Hope provides a stress-free environment, with the opportunity to work with horses and children. HBH is very accommodating to all individuals, and if you really want to volunteer with them, they will make sure that they find a job that suits you the best. HBH has changed my life from not wanting to do much of anything to wanting to be at the barn all the time. HBH isn't very strict, and provides a fun atmosphere while emphasizing safety at all times. There is no person that has not been able to volunteer with HBH. HBH allows people of all ages and abilities to become a volunteer. There have been people that are not physically able to do the barn chores, but really wanted to volunteer, so they got involved in some of the office work. HBH is the best place to volunteer in my opinion because you get to have fun at your job and get to meet amazing people and help changelives
