Mission Statement
Northwest Michigan House of Hope is a program that seeks to reunite families and their teenaged children who are in crisis and conflict. By providing both a safe haven for troubled teens and appropriate counseling for them and their family, House of Hope works to bring the family together. Reconciling the teen to the family empowers them to become productive, healthy members of society.
Description
Northwest Michigan House of Hope is a residential home and school for troubled teens. We are located in a beautiful setting in Northern Michigan on a forty acre farm estate. House of Hope is a private faith based Christian home for teens. We accept students from all walks of life, regardless of race, creed, or religion. Our program works with the student and parents to restore the family. We provide teens with structure in a safe environment. In addition to Hope Academy's curriculum, designed for teens to work at their own pace, gardening, art therapy, automobile restoration, cooking, weight training, basketball and soccer are part of the weekly accomplishments.
