Guided by the belief that every person with diabetes has the right to live a healthy, happy, and productive life, Taking Control of Your Diabetes educates and motivates people with diabetes to take a more active role in their condition and provides innovative and integrative continuing diabetes education to medical professionals caring for people with diabetes.

Description

TCOYD is a not-for-profit 501(c) 3 charitable organization dedicated to educating and motivating people with diabetes and their loved ones to take a more active role in their own health and to provide continuing diabetes education to medical professionals to better care for their patients.

They were organized and treated Volunteers very well. They were open and flexible if there was something a volunteer couldn't do. All were very appreciative of volunteers helping and sincere about it. Had food for us throughout the event and thanked everyone as they left.
