Mission Statement

Banderas de Esperanza is a nonprofit organization aiding underprivileged children living in Banderas Bay, Mexico. By providing an opportunity for education and by guiding young people to find their voice, Banderas de Esperanza is supporting Mexican youth who demonstrate a desire to reach their full potential. We support dedicated children of today so that they may be the hope for others tomorrow.

Description

Banderas de Esperanza literally translated to Flags of Hope, though for those involved it means so much more. We sponsor low-income youth dedicated to an education. We also support various education oriented associations working in and near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Banderas de Esperanza is foremost a networking facility that links humanitarian workers to such diverse volunteer opportunities as teaching classes at our local community center, caring for abused children, protecting the street animals of Mexico, and monitoring the nesting beaches of our seasonal Sea Turtles.
